Lost Tomb of the Derelict King

You have found the final resting place of Alkil—Scourge of Giants, Sovereign of Miners and Masons, the Derelict King. You enter through a pair of stone doors into the gallery overlooking his throne room, where he and his court were interred centuries ago.

Lost Tomb of the Derelict King is a one-room dungeon for the Shadowdark RPG rated for 4-6 characters level 2-3. The adventure is designed to be played in one session of 2-3 hours, either as a one-shot or inserted into a larger campaign.

Staged like a throne room, with all his subjects interred in eternal audience, the macabre tomb of Alkil is a death trap for the unwary. Those who wish both to survive it and plunder its riches must brave the oppressive darkness, overcome magic meant to bring you to your knees, and, above all, find the exit before the chamber collapses. The Derelict King, it is said, would rather see his mountain turned to rubble before parting with what's his.
